I know what you mean my brain kept thinking of Mongols, Tartars and the Byzantine Empire  ;)

It's an Anime.  Think of it as having been written by scriptwriters with no grasp of history or geography and then translated from Japanese to English by someone who doesn't speak either language well.   ;D

I could mention a fair few historical movies and some supposedly serious history books that could qualify for that description  ;D

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
