It's amazing that the 1/72 Airfix Tornado F.3 is so compatible with the rear end of the YF-23 Black Widow II. Not as much filler/putty as I expected on this kitbash.
I have added a few photos,  the top and lower fuselage halves from the cut down Tonka haven't been glued. I shall be needing some nose weight.

PSR has started and the Black Widow III is now starting to take shape. Seems a bit strange that there's no decals for the cockpit with the Airfix Starter Kit. I have added the engine air intakes from the Mig-29 UB.
In comparison with the F-22N Sea Raptor the Black Widow III .

I've changed the name as the kitbash reminds me of a Manta Ray at the tail end. The Airfix Tornado F.3 landing gear really works well, I have bodged the gap and made a hump on the upper fuselage. This will need PSR, the build is a more symmetrical having reglued one of the Mig-29 UB air intakes ( looking similar to the Northrop F-5 at certain angles).
I can see this aircraft as a long-range fighter/interceptor even carrying a camera pod as there's no internal weapons bay.
Photos will be posted as soon as the PSR is finished.

More PSR and added 'hump' on the upper fuselage,  landing gear works well.

More PSR and I used the canards from the Sukhoi Buzzard.

PSR continues. It's got the shape that I was after. Primer and paint next.

With the parts taken from the broken 1/72 Lockheed F-35B the Manta Ray has been changed to the Marsh Harrier a two-seater  triple engine V/STOL.

The laser targeting pod from the F-18E has been glued on and the hatch for the lifting engine isn't glued in place.

To increase the range and endurance times a retractable in-flight refuelling probe has been fitted.

After a slight mishap the Marsh Harrier has become an air defence variant using the Sidetrack radars.

The Marsh Harrier is undergoing a revamp using parts from a Airfix 1/72 BAe Tornado F.3. I have used the seats and undercarriage which seems to fit. The horizontal tail fins have been removed and a general tidy up.

I can't believe how your projects evolve! It's like three builds in one.

I stumble across information on the Internet and often compare it to what I'm building then conbine serval concepts into one.
