P 47 Thunderscream !

My second entry in this GB will be a jet powered Thunderbolt .

Started yesterday with the fuselage , a big part ist cut out , sanded precisely for placing new parts in .

Original kit came without a box .  Cheap stuff with very soft plastic material , easy to cut , bad for sanding .

This is the basic kit,  seems okay at all , but not high level quality .

Check the exhaust , fits well .
But the parts and putty need more time for going hard before sanding .

Your not hanging around on this build are ya mate  ;D
Keep this up and it will be finished before the new week starts  :thumbsup:
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

... the problem is that I have no problem to find a new construction to build  :wub:

But the plan is to stay in Modell building straight till November, than we have to work on  the music project again,  but there are so many planes to build which no one have build before  :thumbsup:

The funny thing is I'm thinking the exact same thing right now 🤣
My Lighting is 99% done..will be finished today...then it's pics and back story...what am in going to build next is the question..I do have something in mind tho  :wacko:

.... the never seen carpet monster was here and stole my engine !

So i decide to make a new one, a bit shorter , fits better with the landing gear .

Nearly complete that REAL BIG THING what a Thunderbolt is .  So i decide to keep it on ground and place the pilot standing beside.

Oh, need a standing Pilot i think !

No , i did not know about another 47 jet, could you please show me ?

My parts are nearly together, engine fits right without putty , so i started the paint Job !

Looking good, I like the look of it with the more forward engine, it's almost a very chunky Yak-15  :thumbsup:
