Jet & Prop - I - Kyushi K7W Shinden

First in a trilogy of aircraft in jet and prop form. All started way too early to enter in the current group build unfortunately.

Model: Hasegawa 1/72

Lovely models Tom.

I always though the jet version looks rather un-balanced, not sure why. It just looks 'right' with a prop on the back.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I agree, lovely work!  I also see Mr. PR's point about the design appearing "unbalanced ".  I think to me the jet version always looked a little too close coupled.  I wonder if in the real world the design would have suffered from stability problems in the yaw axis.

As usual..."longer wings...longer fuselage..."

When pictured together the jet version just looks like the prop fell off.

Good work though.

I have one of these in the stash - the two in one kit.  It'll be drastically modified.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

It does, doesn't it.

Nice work Tom
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Considering I like the weird even I ain't all that taken with the jet version.
It's like the tail pipe needs to be lengthened to balance the look better.

Still tho..very very nice stuff Tom  ;D  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Devilfish

I always felt it needed more directional stability....
