Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Interesting what a simple tail switch can achieve! Looks good, even though it has IMHO lost its Soviet-ness?

The Soviets built many aircraft but none were civil. Usually drunk and rude.

When some American put turbine engine and shark graphics on a SU-26, it became even more rude than usual:

Drunk, rude - and a people with many magnificent artists as well. Mussorgskys the walking theme of "pictures at an exhibition" is still one of my go-to pieces when I need to focus.

Ah, what has the world become..  :-\
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Mussorgsky's "Promenade/Great Gate of Kiev" theme  was what madame R used as her entry music for our wedding.......  we both very much appreciate it!   We used "The entry of the Queen of Sheba"  (Handel)  to go out to.  I would agree that the whole of Pictures at an Exhibition is music worth listening to.

A worthy and well suited use of that music indeed, I must say!

There's a YouTube channel called Found & Explained that has a video on the Russian 747 and the reasons behind why they didn't build their own instead of buying them from Boeing.
