Excellent! I may have that kit in the stash but it will get cut up for a kitbash one of these days.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Great scheme.   Extra points for putting up with a rubbish kit.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Definitely looks the part.

And I built that same kit donkey's years ago, and agree that it's a load of rubbish.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Thanks for the moral support, guys. It means a lot.   This was one buggy kit.
And I did manage to stop it from being a tail sitter too, but only barely.
The slightest bump of a table or whatever will make this aircraft tail sit again.  :banghead:
I need to find something small I can fit inside the nose wheel well.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.

I love the retro scheme as well. It's one of my favorite WW2 camo schemes. What can I say. I love blue.
And one last picture below of the underside of the aircraft. I added red decal stripes to denote the area where the sonobouys are dropped from the aircraft.
As I mentioned in a previous post on a previous page in this model thread, the scratch built circular object under the front of the aircraft is a APS-124 radar unit.
Some or most US Navy SH-60 Seahawks carry this under the fuselage of the helicopters.
To fix the tail sitting issue a bit more, I added a small ball bearing inside the nose wheel well bay.
It's silver colored and might be hard to see in the picture. I will paint it white though.
