The RH side of the nose/cockpit assembly is glued in place now, and that gives me a guide for how to re-model the bomb bay. I'll do that before I add the LH side of the nose/cockpit as I may have to fiddle about inside first, and it's a very narrow fuselage!

Here its is so far, with a teaser view of one extended wing. It won't be QUITE that long, but that's the root part of it anyway.

Any guesses where it came from?  ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Going by the two colours for the upper and lower part of the wing I would say Matchbox PB4Y-2

You lot are too damn good.

I couldn't find a B-24 kit in The Loft, but I did find THREE Privateers, so one got the job.

ALL of you were right really.  ;D

It'll need a tad thinning as the top surface of the thick Davis section ends up higher than the top of the fuselage, but nothing that a hefty file and some PSR can't sort out.

Matchbox plastic should withstand it.
