It's really done, and am I ever thankfull.

An overall view, emphasising the good bits of course.  ;D

The rather plain underside, but Luftwaffe aircraft of the period were like that.

The rather neat cockpit, with all sorts of (invisible.....) details inside, nicely masked with the KitMasx items.

The bomb bay and nose turret etc.

The mega complex V-24 double engine, one of four of course, but they all look the same, even if the backstory says they aren't......

Underside of the tail showing the belly turret and tailwheel.

And lastly the tail with the Mk 103 cannon, minus is flash preventer.  :banghead:

The very lengthy backstory is here :

Congratulations, Kit ! You deserve the Plastic Perseverance Cross with Oak Leaves and Diamonds, as well as the Pour le Stubbourness Merite with Crown and Swords.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Very nice Kit, and hats off to your patience.  Part of why my Avro Kittleton has taken so long is because it has bitten me more times than a bag full of angry ferrets. Your patience has been legendary.

And bar.  Don't forget the bar.  Kit'll need a stiff drink after this.

That really has come out well Kit, glad you persevered

Love the front end (is that a technical term ?) in particular, always have liked those Ju bulbous canopies/noses

Yes, I do too Chris. It's a real pain to mask up, even with the special masking kit, and DE-masking it takes an age too, but the final effect is great, even if you can't really see what's inside.

I guess the German industry at the time couldn't do the 'blown perspex' trick that we did with late Spitfires and America did with the Mustang.

And thanks gentlemen, glad it meets with your approval. It'll be interesting to see the reaction to it at shows, the JMNs will assume it's a Lancaster in Luftwaffe colours I expect.   ;D

Then you can point out their aircraft recognition needs work, and laugh! Extra Bonus!!

Those masking kits really do make life so much easier - it's a pity they're only a one-shot deal, though that's Marketing 101, of course.
Then again, with some of those things, once is enough!

Some of the KitMasx reviews say the vinyl masks can be re-used, but I couldn't get on with them when I did the He 119, and went back to the Tamiya tape for the Ju 558.
