I'm a bit undecided if I should paint and detail my interior Habakkuk cross section.
I didn't do it for my earlier 1/700 scale cross section years ago as that was too small.
What do you think, folks? Questions, comments, concerns, etc. are welcome.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

You need a least some paint and a few details to give the impression of what's happening in there.

In terms of painting, I think it would look great with the hangar/internal section painted (with the odd aircraft included  )

Maybe leaving the ice/pykrete section in plastic or white as a contrast

Like a sort of concept drawing where what can be based in reality is solid and what is imagined or new has a faint or ethereal quality to it.

If you see what I mean

I'm all for the details and wee people to bring the scale to life

Without the paint & the details I think the whole point of the crass-section will be lost.

Guess which way I voted. ;)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
