Instead I'll be in a swanky Fairmont Chateau hotel in Quebec City that weekend!

Saw plenty of distant whale spouts in the Gulf of St Lawrence/GaspĂ© Peninsula a few years ago whilst driving along the west coast of Newfoundland - and very many more close to the Newfie shore itself.  Wonderful free display of 20+ humpbacks and minkes off Cape Spear on our final day in NL.

  About 3.5 hours up the river from Quebec City is the town of Tadoussac, at the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord. Lots of beluga whales there.

Been lucky enough to see whales on a couple of occasions whilst on cruises. Amazing sight.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks to Richard Brooker, one of the local(ish) SIG members to the NEC, we now have some space at this show.  WE are im told grouped in with IPMS Coventry & Warwickshire and IPMS Hinkley. I suspect he will be ably assisted by Trevor.
I wont be there as I will be doing my annual pilgrimage to Perth for the Scots nationals. It will give any of our gang who may pop along as a punter someware to base them selves from.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.
