Received today from the Aviation Megastore

1 x 1/72 Model Maker Decals SU 22 In Polish Service Part II. For my recent purchase of a Modelsvit Su-22M4 as I wanted to do an ordinary Polish machine.

And from eBay

1 x 1/72 Airfix Series 1 Blister pack de Havilland Chipmunk, I'm thinking floats for this one once I get the rivets off it.

1 x 1/72 AZ model AZ 7559 de Havilland Canada DHC-1 "Chipmunk" T.10/w/Lycoming

And this is the Lycoming engine

This Chipmunk will become something else that looks like a Chipmunk but isn't.

Arrived fresh from the big H:
1/72 KP MiG-19PM to receive an RAF DACT scheme to go with the 15 and 17 already earmarked for the same.
1/72 SH Douglas Skystreak D-558-1 and aircraft I'd never come across, but one that look ready to become a 50's fighter...

Having built one, I can say that it seems to be one of their better efforts from that period.

Oh really? I've faught shy of trying it in face of TONS of positive views oh how good the Tamiya one is. But I've never seen one of those that I could afford!

It's typical of the blast of 1/72nd they pushed out in the late '90s - early '00s. Seiran, P-47, P-51, F4U, Mossie etc.
Note this applies to the 1/72 kits done by Tamiya, not the Italeri kits reboxed for the domestic market.

Arrived from the Big H this morning

You cannot view this attachment.

Fairly sure this is my first ICM kit. Impressed with the whole package, sprues look excellent, instructions look easy to follow and the boxing is robust enough to make me swear a tad whilst getting into it   ;D . Lots of parts on the sprues marked not for use, including what looks like the whole clear sprue for the standard "A" models.

When it get builts it will probably join my expanding Hungarian AF.

While at a model boat event y'day I latched onto an Emhar F-94C Starfire kit that was just lurking about a plastic ship model stand, as you would of course.

That was as well as the VERY expensive model yacht I bought as well. It was so big I had to take the car home and unload it before returning to carry the yacht back. Something I've NEVER had to do with plastic aeroplane kits!  :o

From Hobbycraft, at reasonable prices courtesy of a discount voucher (worth joining their club):

Italeri 1/35th BMW R75 with sidecar - Inspired by Fred's build, although I think I'll do without the sidecar entirely: we'll see.

Tamiya 1/35th SAS Pink Panther Landrover - partly because I've always wanted one and partly because we were talking about the real thing on Twitter ("X" ) just before I went out, so it seemed ordained by the gods (at least that's my excuse  ).

Yes, but it's in my container at home and I'm 120 miles to the east at my 'country home'.

But the rack will be essential when I take the thing to regattas etc or I won't be able to carry ANYthing else!  :o

Don't know what your budget's like Kit, but if you can find a few items to go with it to make the P&P worthwhile...

Allowing for fluctuations in the Yen, the price before reduction is about what I paid.
