Yeah, this was pretty cheap. I got lucky, there were several going on eBay for a good price, as I was thinking about it, another was listed even cheaper, so what do you do? ;D

The Batmissile wasn't (not extortionate either), but I had an idea and it was getting bought.  The cheap Big Boy made me feel better. I may even pick up AMT's '89 Batmobile as they weren't much more and it's my favourite screen Batmobile.

You've pretty much hit the plan on the head!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Bought a few items at SMW 2024 today

There is also a Rotocraft Wasp helicopter in 1/72 that I bought, but I think its in another bag that I left at the table overnight.  :banghead:

Very pleased with what I got especially the Neptune MR.1 conversion set.

Does the red jet on the book cover have rotors at the wingtips?

Opened this original sealed Box from 1978 for the first time ...
Got two of them now,  each box got a nacked engine included , which can used very good for something new.

Steampunk!  This is my inspiration, found it a while back and thought of the Batmissile and Big boy straight away.  It's taken me this long to get around to buying them, felt I needed a project. I often envisaged it on a snowy night, so it might get built for the Polar Wars GB if I can figure out how to fashion a plow. The end result might not look the same as the one below, partly because I thought the Batmissile was straight sided but it tapers, I can think of several ways I might go about it, all with a different look.

The Groove Boss looks very interesting, guess it's going to be super-special modified by the time you're done???

Todays haul from Telford

This includes the Rotocraft Wasp which I had left in the hall yesterday. Quite happy with all my purchases, all things I was after and I managed to get most of what I was after as well so an extra bonus.
