I was cutting some pegboard a couple weeks ago and I noticed a label on the back that said the state of California had determined wood dust can give you cancer.
Too much salt can give a lab rat cancer too. What are we supposed to do?
These same people eat sea salt on everything and it's got plastic fibers from ocean trash in it.
I'm going to bed and pull the covers up over my head.

Many of these warnings that we see are valid, but ignore California, they declare anything a carcinogen. They could save a lot of money on legalities by just taking the default position of 'carcinogen until proven otherwise.'

From Hobbycraft:

Revell 1/72nd Horten G0 229

£9 with the use of a voucher they sent me for my birthday!

Resisted the temptation to exploit the current 3-for-2 offer, since the only things I could have got on it were "nice-to-haves" not "needs" and would have still involved spending quite a lot of money objectively.

That's exactly what happened to Johnson's Klear varnish (or what's called 'floor polish' in other markets) and the 'healthy' stuff you can get now is rubbish for it's proper use.

PRECISELY!!  :banghead:

Bought a mecha kit, inspired by a build in the recent Hobby Jaoan magazine, a Bandai 1:144 Gundam MS-06E3 Zaku Flipper kit - to be built OOB (maybe with minor upgrades), but a non-standard multi-colored livery.

Having just had a birthday I treated myself.

1/25 AMT '71 Dodge Charger.  This was the first kit I built when I returned to the hobby in the early 00's.  I want to have another go to see how my skills have changed in 20 years.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh YEAH!

Not seen one of those kits for AGES! And I saw the real thing during the US Drag Racing Team's tours in the 60s.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I think I would have preferred the very fragile part at the front to be supplied separately and with a couple of spares.  :-\
