The Wooksta!

Takom's expensive Sanger Silbervogel, the one with the nukes. Looks nice, is a very full box with a big and varied decal sheet.

This has been a tricky build so far, needing constant clean up of all the bits and the fit in places is very tight. Still, it should see some primer tomorrow.

The Wooksta!

No primer as yet, but this is how it looks so far.

No takers?  Miserable...

Anyway, the underside got a coat of primer on Saturday, but no further since.

One of the coolest Luft46 aircraft, looking good

Would it need a camo scheme at all? It was meant to fly stratospherically, wasn't it?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

The Wooksta!

Yes, but it does need to hide when it's on the ground.  Two of the late greens.

Have you got the correct box for this kit?

The Wooksta!

Yes.  I just used the Haneubu box as a backdrop.

Interesting.  Clean design. Any pictures of the weapons?

The Wooksta!

No, because I bought that with the intention of passing the nukes, tractor and trollies to a mate and I've already passed them on.

This is a captured one, so they're superfluous.

There's pics of them in the latest Airfix Mag's review.

Bet the reviewer didn't mention that every sodding part needs sanding to get it to fit. The bomb bay/main gear bays are a pig to assemble, the nose gear bay isn't too far off either.

If this was a limited run kit, fair enough, but it was an expensive mainstream manufacturer, so this is not one happy camper here, yeah?

The Wooksta!

Undercarriage and doors on, pics to follow at some point soon.

But, quite frankly, I hate it with a passion.
