Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

DANKE SEHRRRR !!

That thing will become a white paint next week , like a Nasa or X- Project Plane .  I think about keeping the underside in silver ?

Yup that's it !!!
Herr Noizer's build has given me the excuse to get off my arse and build my version of this sort of B-17.
I've had pics for yrs of other builders ideas and there all very similar.
Killnoizer mate yours is wayyyy above their ideas and I love that 😍
Mine will have 4 engines ..probably gas turbines ..if I can make em that is..it's 48th after all..next step is scoring some 48th B-29 propellers  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Phill, there are a couple of free downloadable and printable Hamilton Standard props out there, easily scalable.
Somewhere to do the printing will still be an issue, tho.

If you're interested, I can flick you the links.

Edit: I forgot to say, they're 4-bladed ones.

I bought a can of WHITE today but it was not right .  Natural white isn't the way i want it .

Try to get signal white on friday at the shop and went forward than .  The masking Job for that is a lot of work.

After a hard week , a exploded clutch at the Truck on the highway and other trouble i come back to the modelbench and pushed the signal white button

And keep it silver on the underside .

... i had a complete set of the NCC 1701 decals.  But i wanna do a plotted masking  + paint job without decals .  The endless rivets and decals are not so good together, but maybe I have to check that .

Yes , and I don't like that job in THIS SIZE , that's too much .

Unfortunately another , well known , problem happened .

The CARPET MONSTER was here .

All remaining clear parts of TWO kits where lost , i have spend two hours today for searching in every little box without any result . So I interrupt this build and think about some other new builds ,  as we know the lost parts will come back one day in an completely unexpected way and smile at you

Maybe I continue a bit of washing and chipping at the club meeting this week , and try too keep cool .
The next idea is just to buy a third kit of that kind and get the parts plus another decal version .

There .... And back again.

Mrs. Killnoizer is working sometimes on her B1 Lancer project , and the missing parts were hidden in that Box .  I'm not shure how to continue the B17 ,  for a between and final clear coat i have to mask the Windows again  :banghead:  :banghead:

But today the Land Rover need some attention and welding in the work shop , so i went dirty today
