I suppose the brown disk is to protect the blades during assembly and to help align them , will not be a permanent feature?
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Correct , it is just a tool with the correct angle for each blade .  It must be cutted today to get it off .

Looks like a WWII version of the Unducted-fan engine that they tried on an MD-80 in the 80s.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It is a bit difficult to take a pic of the white blades ,  but in real it looks very impressive.
Was a big step in the build , i am happy to continue with the wings and landing gear .

And i want to make some experiments with a silver washing  ,  just a light shine to keep the parts visible .

Murphy visited me yesterday  :banghead:

I have to ad lot of weight into the nose section because the tail is to heavy with the 60 blades .
I am not amused  !   There is not much place  there  and  every hole is closed !
I have to put some VA washers into the canards  and glue them  very strong .

Can you place a spar through the fuselage yet to support the canards?

To much work ... I have placed some metall parts in the Cockpit ,  and the canards will be glued very strong, No problem,  i pay very much attention for the connection of the parts all the time .
