I'm curious to try something new here. ;)
We have the "My Stash just increased" forum/threads here: https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?board=76.0
But I wanted to create a different sort of thread titled "My stash just decreased yet again".

So here's how it works.
Every time you take a kit out of your stash to build it, post about it here.
Or if your model kit stash "decreases" because you had to sell or get rid of model kits for other various reasons such as, but not limited to: Damaged in fire/flood, Given to other people, Sold, etc., etc.
You can even post pics of completed finished models that "decreased/removed" from your completed finished model stash that may have been given to others, damaged for various reasons and no longer repairable, etc.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Okay, I'll bite:

My stash just decreased by one Hasegawa TA-4J Skyhawk and three sets of Airfix Skyhawk drop tanks given to Chrisonord, and one set of early Indian Air Force decals (the mandala ones) given to The Wooksta (three years late... ).

My club is having a "Festivus" party on Feb 17th so I have to choose a kit for the raffle. That will be a decrease but who knows if I'll win something too. It usually turns into a kit exchange!

Feb. 10th is my next local model club meeting. I'll be bringing these models (Below) to the meeting. These are all 1/144 scale. From left to right, they are B-2 stealth bomber, B-1B Lancer bomber, and a B-52 bomber. I no longer plan to finish these and am giving them away to any club member who wants them as I have lost interest in them. I was going to create a large US Air Force Global Strike Command bomber display, but that project fell through. They all need finishing by having canopies painted and attached, as well as having decals put on all of them. I have the extra parts and decals and those will be provided. None of these models are contest/competition worthy, but they can still be finished and displayed reguarly at home. None of these models will be split up. They all go together. If a person takes one, then they take them all.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.

I did start a similar thread many years back, but it's long been lost.

I disposed of four Shackletons and assorted bits to Chrisonord, plus several built up wrecks, whilst Nick got a 144th Su 37 to play with.

I passed Willie a pair of part started P51s at the weekend too, a D and an H. He wants to do some tin pot third world dictatorships.  Think he also got a part built V-2 from me recently, as well as enough resin parts for a Bv P.202.

Uncle Frank got some bits and bobs, but I can't recall what they were.

Finally, disposed if a bag of bits to assemble at least one Matchbox Me 410 and an old tool Airfix Bf 109G-6 to a so called mate, but have yet to get a simple thank you, despite him bragging about building the latter on faceache.  This is the last time he gets anything from me.  Not that I'm bitter or nowt, but I can hold grudges for a long time.

The Wooksta!

Passed a Falcon Spitfire Special vacforms canopy set, along with an assembled old tool Airfix Beaufighter with a Magna Merlin conversion.

Willie also got the bulk of an MPM Me 262 Mistel, with the lower component assembled, as well as an Airmodel Me 262B2A vacform fuselage and assorted underwing lethality.

I sent Rickshaw a 1/72 Hasegawa Mitsubishi zero prop.

Small Steps. No need to overdo things all at once...  ;D

The Wooksta!

Willie was also passed the Special Hobby Me 262 3 seat night fighter this morning.

I should also have sorted out a resin Fw 190 B/C fuselage for him too, but I forgot about it.

Most appreciated.  It sits on my desk, ready to be applied, as I type.

I'm all for stash reduction.  I'm sick of having a pile of kits that will never  be built. I donated a very large portion of my stash to Models For Heroes and, a local charity shop. I gave another batch to an RAF serviceman deploying overseas (he's the son of a friend). I now build at least three models for any two I buy. Keeps the numbers down and, saves a lot of money

While I applaud your charitable donations thems defeatist words.   ;)
The trick is to live long enough either to build them all or for the human race to destroy itself.   :-\

Tamiya/Italeri 1/72 SEPECAT Jaguar GR1 and 1/35 ICM WOT8 both built and no longer in my stash.
Hasegawa 1/72 F-4E Phantom II and 1/72 F-15 Eagle reclassified from complete model kits to parts.

Sold my Special Hobby Messerschmitt Me 264 1:72, needed the cash to buy a Saunders Roe SR-A1..... ah, not really reducing the stash, but I will actually build the SR-A1 hopefully   ;D
and it is a smaller plane, so technically is reducing the stash  ;D  ;D

I'm shrinking my stash by a small amount which in turn has back fired slightly.
I'm giving my mate Perrin my 32nd scale Roden L-19/0-1 Bird Dog ..it's the float plane version but comes with normal landing gear.  I'm keeping the floats for a build 😉
He's also getting a window masking set for the Academy 48th CH-53E (I've got 2 sets) plus the window masks for the Italeri 48th V-22 Osprey and he don't know but I'm throwing him a set of Royale Resin V-22 weighted wheels too.

Now it seems he's also throwing me some thinks too and the bugga won't say anything about what they are  :banghead:
Fact knowing him my stash will probably expand  ;D
