Boeing V-22 Osprey temporary replacement ideas

The USNavy and the USA's Special Forces have temporary grounded their Boeing V-22 Osprey's due to a spate of fatal crashes. No doubt that Boeing will be conducting a thorough investigation and recitifing the Ospreys.
The CV-22s have been replaced with the last flying examples of the Grumman C-2 Greyhounds, as to the Special Forces, an educated guess is the MH-47G and the MH-53K (I'm not too sure if the MH-53K is in service yet). The Special Forces have used the EH-101 Merlin,so have the USMarines although none have been sold to them.
With a little bit of research the Fairy Rotodyne naval variation was considered by the USNavy with a pair of turbofan engines, the rear landing gear fitted to side sponsors and the wings modified to a tapered edge.  I've seen a few sketches but nothing official.
However the replacement of the Blackhawk helicopter has thrown up a few possibilities and whiffery, meaning do you stick to what's available off the shelf or go for a whiff.

Initially the Ospreys were promoted as the replacements for the Greyhound, Hawkeye, Chinook, Stallion and Seahawks with a possible commercial variant.
Only time will tell if the Ospreys return to service or are modified for other duties.

From the latest reports it was a USAF CV-22 Osprey that crashed in December 2023 and another MV-22 Osprey flown by the USMARINES that had a crash as well,  grounding the entire fleet.
The USNAVY is thinking of reinstating recently retired Grumman C-2As to boost the numbers of the last Greyhound Squadron.
The USMarine Corps operates the MV-22B , the USAF the CV-22B for Special Operations Forces and the USNavy the CMV-22B in the Carrier On Board.
Japan has suspended all flights since the crash back in November 2023.

Makes you think they need to build new C-2s with modern engines and avionics. Or find a good replacement.

There was a plan to use the BAe 146, the C-27J Spartan if it was modified to land and take-off from an aircraft carrier.
In the whiffing world it has to be the Westland Rotodyne.

If the US dumps the V-22 I think it will be back to helicopters and the C-2. New C-2s will have to have a bigger fuselage to handle the F-35 engine as cargo.

There's a news article saying that the Navy, Marines and Air Force Boeing Ospreys will return to service due to a component failure. It doesn't say what the component was only that the maintenance procedures have been changed.

How confident are those operating them and travelling in them going to be?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
