Club meeting, possible future kit

Seen at the latest IPMS Australia club meeting, the man behind Uncle Les's Models had this on the table

It is 1/72 something like the Airspeed AS47 project (I think)






There were indications that this might become a kit, not necessarily from the Uncle Les stable though.

Personally I'm not a great fan of the things. I can understand when they are offset to allow for either a centre line cannon or driveshaft, but then they are necessary evils. There again everybody to his own

And the offset looks to be to accommodate the nose gear, so logical.

I just checked, sorry, and no he doesn't...................currently.

For some reason I think I got it confused with the AS 31, which is nothing like it

I'd hope the pilot had some sort of bang seat to avoid being sliced and diced by that pusher prop if called upon to abandon the aircraft. Love the concept though.
