You must have heard of Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg by now...

Their latest set is of Monaco with the Grand Prix race happening live. Full camera set up using micro cameras and Raspberry Pi sets.

It looks really good and I really want to go there!

They didn't say what moves the cars in any detail, but I gathered it's magnetic, and they must have explained it in earlier episode maybe.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Here's a previous episode showing the track being installed. It looks like a series of magnetic coils to me.


This is good. It shows them troubleshooting the track as it burns  ;D  and they test drive a toilet.
