I was feeling a bit of cabin fever, and thought I'd dig out a cool "Whif of a whif" kit today. To that end, check out the MB.6 "Sky Ferret", a theoretical two-seater heavy fighter based on the non-produced MB.5! How many layers of alternative reality can you handle?

This one has all kinds of potential. Just think of the postwar Whiffery that awaits!

That MB6 isn't too bad a kit, I've done three of either it or the original AZ MB5 kit already, my most enjoyable being a 'Sea Monsoon F23' as below.

The whole build is here if would help any.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looking forward to this, here's mine too. Mine is a Sea Stoat of the Fleet Air Arm.

I seem to recall.... that somebody has posted an MB.6 profile. Can't find it now. At least a black night fighter, much like MB.5 but stretched.

Tons of whiff goodness here. Just the camo and markings are limitless.

Our two would make a good pairing at a show Chris.

Cheers, I am tempted to find another one and do it as an RAF bird.

No kidding! I was not even aware of the type or the kit!

Of course two of these side by side would make an F-82 look weak!
