Round One of the 2024/2025 GB Subject Poll - pick up to 10 for entry into Round 2

Nowhere near as many suggestions as last year, and for that I thank you  ;D

They are basically in the order in which they were suggested.

I've included all the suggestions made but have merged a couple of very similar ones so as not to dilute their vote.

Now I've given you 10 votes, although you don't have to use them all, and I will put 10/15 or so through to the second round. Not fixing the number now as I don't want to be too harsh and drop things that only narrowly miss the "cut".

To be honest there are a few in the list that I really don't understand, but that can be sorted out if they make the cut.  If you want to see more details and/or read the discussion it can be found via the link below.

I'll leave it open for a 10 days or so and organise round 2 on or around 1st April.

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I've voted, and since I'm a backstory writer rather than a modeller, I'd be prepared to have a go at ANY of these.  Thank you all for these ideas.

voted, and there is a good breadth of options, some are rather though provoking as well,  thanks folks.

Voted. Some tasty ones there: I just hope I have more time in 2024/2025 to have a go at some of them!

Some interesting ones for sure! I'm interested to see what comes out of this first round.

As always, you don't have to have a GB to build a whiff.  I something on the list gets your creative juices simmering then go for it.

Although I voted for several of the options (I used far less than my full 10 votes) I may not enter any of the GBs ... or I may enter all of them.

Comes down to what I want to build at the time. ;)

Of course, to build anything, I have to finish cleaning up the modelling room first.

The mess is messing with my mojo ... Which is certainly there, I want to build models, but entering the modelling room & seeing the mess just makes it all too hard. :banghead:

Still, I'm about 80% there. Just got to keep plugging away at it.

Exactly right. I doubt if I enter more than a third of the GB's. I just organise them

I hadn't thought of that.... but I like the idea of including all types with those names.

and they would look good in 80s, grey green, or as the red arrows,  though getting sidewinders / sparrows / Paveways under them may be a bit tricky

Not at all.  All it takes is the correct glue.   ;)
