First build from one of the Vintage Classics 'dynes I bought and was not happy with due to the state of the moulds.

Starting from here...

...I shall build this.

I'll be removing two windows from each end.  This'll put the door in line with the props so i'll have to do something about that.
Tip jet nozzles will be of an advanced quieter design (yet to be invented), rotor will be three bladed, and I shall be doing something about that fat ar5e.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Good name Kit.  I'm keeping that.

You could make it double-ended- put a cockpit on each end so it could be flown equally well in either direction ... ;)

Then put one engine backwards Tophe style so it spins in place!

No need - reverse pitch is a thing with turbo-props.  That's how you drive it from the rear cockpit.  ;)

What a curious concept.  The rotor stands still and the airframe rotates!

Started some pre cut-down assembly.  Including the wings.

Airfix, where are the Ailerons?
There is a trim tab moulded on one wing but no ailerons.  Looking at my previous 'dyne build it has some but I think I scribed them myself as they are bigger than those on the real thing which can be seen in photos.  This time I may actually cut them off and reattach offset.

The real 'dyne only had tiny ailerons compared to that slab of a wing.

I've never seen it written anywhere, but I suspect that using cyclic pitch control on the monster rotor would be part of the roll control system as the rotor was rotating all the time, even if not under power, just like an autogyro.
