Not for a what-if but does anyone happen to have the decals from the AZ Models 1/72 Spitfire Mk.VIII RAAF kit #7518 going spare? Particularly looking for the Grey Nurse and Ace of Spades accent markings

I may have the decals for those from a Ventura kit of the Mk VIII. I'll have a look in The Loft later today.

That'd be great if you're not going to be using them yourself. If so let me know what you'd like for them or looking for by way of a swap

The Eduard ones are probably better and I have quite a few tucked away.  I'll have a dig tomorrow, but text me a reminder.

Depends on which Grey Nurse you want, as there were several...

Yes, I do have that decal sheet.

Choice of two now.  ;D

I do have that AZ kit, I think, and I can actually get to it.  I'll dig them out tomorrow.

Wasn't that one of the options on ye olde Frog kit?

I've some Almark RAAF/RAF Spit VIII decals spare if they can be of use.

Thanks folks, I'm trying to build one of the current two-seaters as I got a chance to fly in it last weekend

https://flyaspitfire.com/aircraft/1945-spitfire-t9-te308/

I've got the Eduard weekend edition kit EDK7462 inbound as that gets me most of the markings and serials so it'd just be the playing card on the tail and the "grey nurse" text I'm short of

Any kits, bits, monies or decals you'd like?

Thanks but I think either Kit or Lee have rescued me

The Ventura decals definitely have the 'Grey Nurse' script, but I can't see anything about an 'Ace of Spades'.

It has a big, 2 part sharksmouth, and codes for ZP - G. Plus codes for UP - B too.

Ah, it DOES have the 'Ace of Spades' decal, but it's white on white of course, and it's difficult to see.

Excellent! Could I blag those off you then. Would you like any of the other schemes from the Eduard boxing by way of return (or anything else you fancy)?

Sure, no probs.

I've got so many Spitfire everythings, kits, decals, add-ons etc. I don't really need anything else, so you're welcome to them.

Brilliant, thank you!

Do you have the two seat Spitfire kit?  The AZ ones are somewhat thin on the ground and command silly money on the bay of E.

Yes, got one when I first started saving for the flight so it was a few years ago before prices went daft. Not a bad little kit so far.
