I've got my idea for this GB worked out.  ;D

It's going to be an asymmetric twin boomer, to remember dear Tophe, and it'll be a Canadian airliner, two of Robert's areas of interest. And it'll be one of his favourite airlines that I already did a decal set for, so I only have to modify the art work a bit for my project.

It's going to take up a LOT of space as it'll be 17" wide and 16" long! Gulp!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have two builds for Tophe.

I shall be doing something horrible to a poor old Heller Vampire and rendering a Mustang asymmetric.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

P51 here but with a very large dose of Tophe mixed in...twin booms..push/pull engine arrangement..pure racing aircraft with a black and yellow colour scheme with chrome sliver details.
Haven't figured out yet if it's a tail sitter or a tri pod 🤔 😬
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I'll be going down the seaplane/floatplane route, a pair of Catalinas and a donor cargo aircraft. It will be one of the largest floatplanes I've ever built.

Yesterday I found the P51 engine and radiator scoop left over from when I did my previous Tophe build combining Mustang and Mitsubishi.

Hmmmmmm...

I've been looking for a civil aircraft registration prefix code of "T" or "TO", but it seems there isn't one... :banghead:

Might have to make up a whole country here...

Where they're very peaceful and placid due to their exclusive diet of soy, maybe?

From 1929 to 1937 Mozambique was CR-M, Tophe's full name was Christophe Meunier.
The only registrations actually used were CR-MAA through CR-MAI. Mostly De Havilland
DH.60 and DH.80, and Tophe liked De Havilland aircraft. CR-MTO perhaps?

And only reachable by seaplane.

Twin boomed seaplane too!

Another thing to remember: Tophe also like Mirages and did loads of twinned and asymetric ones. Sadly, all the pics have vanished off the forum.
