The BAC Lightning V/STOLs

The British Royal Navy came up with the idea of using the BAC Lightning to defend the fleet whilst at sea. The VG wing would have met the STOL requirements but what if the idea was expanded to V/STOL. Various concepts were put forward, with the Fleet Air Arm insisting that it would be a two-seater (pilot and radar navigator/weapons officer) the two roles offence and defence.
Both proposals for a tandem or side-by-side seating layout would be tried and tested with various engine layouts.

I have a few ideas based on early V/STOL test aircraft. Even the 1/72  Lockheed F-35B can be used as a donor for parts.
