Then i would trust the M-485 blue gray label is correct and remove/cover the vallejo PRU blue label... even so, i find it hard to see any hint of blue on that grey... or gray... ;D

Well, whatever it is, if you're happy with it, that's all there's to it. I like what i see and that's all that really matters to me in the end.

Yeah, what he said.  I hesitated saying anything but i figured that given your vision issues you'd appreciate a heads up.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Exactly my thoughts, i am aware of the vision issues so i just wanted to add my two cents to maybe help clarifying the issue of the difference in color we're seeing.
Interior lighting can indeed, be very misleading. I have a similar issue with the light bulb on my studio's ceiling, it's too warm, yellows out everything so i always use the lamp on my bench, which has a regulator for warmth of light and i always have it on the cold white mode for modelling related use. The ceiling yellow light always makes it hard to see the true colors, especially when they're lighter tones.

You cannot view this attachment.

This pic shows a bit of what i said, the left side of the pic is mostly directly under the ceiling light bulb and is separated from the right by the speaker behind the box. It's easy to see the difference on the top where the wall is white on the right, because of the white cold light from the bench lamp. The guitar's colors are black and red with cream trim and gold-plated hardware. To me, the red in the pic almost looks like it's brown...

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Looking at that photo more closely I do like the different reactions to the shell burst taken by the 3 crew members.  One just gritting his teeth, one concentrating on the job in hand and one going "what the ........!".  That one also has what appears to be an 18" bayonet ? So I assume the photo was taken relatively early in the War, 41/42 ?, and on a training range somewhere in the UK ?

I would say it's a exercise in the UK ...the bloke on the right doesn't look at all concerned about the blast which just went off in front of him and the strange thing is nobody has a rifle with or near by which gun crews in combat would do for that just in case moment.
Also the gun isn't camouflaged or dug in ..another thing is that they are very clean ..your never clean in combat .

Another one done ,,,,the first 3 pics were taken outside in the natural light so hopefully the blue in the paint can be seen as every one seems to say its gray .
