It's been a quiet afternoon at work. So I found this little set of clips in the IWM archive from the making of the Battle of Britain film in 1969.

French Chateaux made of scaffold and plywood, Zlin aerobatics. Nice shot of the film crew B-25 at 6 minutes in. Bright colours and a neat nose art logo.

Lots of low flying at 8 minutes in  ;D

Nice clip that Nick, well spotted, thanks.

Some good cockpit interior shots of an He-111 at 07.50 or so.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Really needed some cinema-quality sound just near the end (7:20-8:55-ish)

Is there any sound track? I couldn't find one, but I may have been pushing the wrong buttons...
