Yes I used all the colours and then some ..it was fun 😁 😂
There is another float plane idea I've been pondering over but it's no good for this GB as it's not weird..strange or cockeyed

Well that masking wasn't as difficult as you'd think ..to get the half circles that's easy ..I went thru my nuts and bolts and found a flanged nut the size I was looking for ..layed out some 32mm wide ..then drew a centre line and then the diameter of the nut ..then just drew a around the nut..instant circles.
Then cut thru the centre and then I cut out the half circles by hand .
Then I just sat there and tried to come up with a design ..once done the rest they say is history

With my mind Guy mate I know it was a spur of the moment thought which sorted the design and layout and how to do it..then once done my mind would have shoved it aside as it's not considered important anymore.

I can recommend a circle-cutter, as then you don't have to be concerned about keeping the cutting by hand accurate.

Yup, one of the few "specialist" tools I've found really useful. I use a simple Ofla one.

Ive got circle cutters ..2 of em ..a simple yellow and blue one and a super duper Dspiae stepless adjustment circle cutter with the locator tool as well 😀
That thing will cut a circle 3mm round if ya want too ..it's an amazing piece of kit 👌.
The cheap plastic one I've got sucks pretty much..it's made from plastic which is too soft so it flexs and twists as ya try to cut with it..if the blades were super sharp that would help but even brand new they're not 
The nut I used is 19.3mm in dia and I needed practice cutting out things again..haven't done anything circular cutting in yonks..so I cut it by hand  and gentlemen I'll admit..I did enjoy that

Yeah, the yellow-and-blue ones are useful to a point... usually up to 20 thou card, then they make a nice spiral cut - or a smaller circle than you dialed in, for some reason.

But hey, if you enjoy hand cutting, then more power to ya. It is more satisfying, I admit.
