In the early 1970's the newly founded Tophe Air Cargo was looking for cheaper airframes for cross channel work, and specialized cargo for mid-east and Africa oil field exploration.  The contradictory requirements for less expensive airframes, higher speed, and rear cargo loading for vehicles and drilling pipe proved elusive until the founder, Mr. Tophe drafted a modification of several surplus DC-6's that had just been retired from airliner service.

The kits:
1/144 Minicraft DC-6B
1/72 Aoshima Focke-Wulf 189A-1, 1970's boxing

Oh yeah, I can hardly wait!     ;D  ;D  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

This is gonna be so damn cool 😎 😍
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That's a very unlikely combo that I'm sure will be awesome!

Hmmm.... very enticing idea... even if I cannot imagine what the result could be.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

I'm certainly with you there sir
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Been thinking about this a little bit and even tho my mind will go to strange places it's about as clear as mud on this which means I'm gonna enjoy this one 😆 🤣

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Here we go, have finally begun

The DC-6 is pretty basic. Hardly any details or panel lines.

Other previous victims pay their final respects.

I can see twin booms in its future, or one at least.

(That'd be even more Tophe-like!  ;D )
