The tables are a bit of an odd size, but works out to roughly 12foot single depth most of the time.

The Floods is the nearest pub and it's only a 15 minute walk. You can sit in their garden by the river and watch the swans and seals annoy the fishermen. The view is practically a Constable painting.

You want to be carefull making statements like that Nick.  I once innocently said something similar ("look at that river, bung a haywain or two in it and you've got a Constable") and set off a J.A.P (Joyless Art Pedant) who had been lurking within earshot.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Sounds just about large enough then.  ;D

And I bet you can guess which one of my Whiffs I'll be bringing now, can't you?  ;D

considering the heavy rain fall over the last few days that pubs name may be a bit apt...........................

I have checked their website and FB page and it doesn't say closed. St Ives does have a lot of flood defences in place. Fingers crossed!

Hang on a tick...SEALS?! I know that they'll often get quite far up a river, they even used to get into Lake Ontario years ago, but that far up the Great Ouse?

Is there an equivalent IPMS Douglas Jetliner SIG?

No, sorry Kit!

Is that a Hint for me to dig a few of mine out again?

If you have them with you, I've happy to accommodate them like last year. Thanks, Martin.

Good show today. Nice to meet up and put faces to names (as it were).

It was good, yes, and very busy too.

Having our stand right opposite the bar was good for footfall for us, but very hunger making watching everyone else sitting right in front of us eating and drinking ALL day!

And even though I have photographic proof that I was there in 2019, I can't remember ever having been there at all! Was it always in that same venue?

Good show, good show!

As usual it was easy to get into. Lots of friendly faces and plenty of chat to be had. I took my own lunch after last years shambles

Came home with a few kits and a decal sheet.
Special Hobby SB2C-5 from the MAGPAS air ambulance raffle.
Military Wheels M966 TOW missile and M988 light truck Humvee - both in 1/72. Short run injection kits from Russia.
Hawker Hunter newsprint decal sheet. Will go nicely on the cheapo Mistercraft kit for my club stand at Telford.

Kit - the show has been held there for the last 10 years or more.

Ah well, just crazy how I can't remember the place. Those massive spiral staircases should have been memorable.  :banghead:
