What if  Germany decided to re-use war weary Fw-190 D9's into a high speed long range armed pathfinder? Maybe it looked like this:

In this contraption are three ancient Airfix Fw-190 D9's. All were missing parts, but this arrangement was do able. The exhausts are cut out and are to be replaced by better looking aftermarket parts.

Oh, besides the three Airfix Fw-190 D9's there is the forward fuselage from a RS model Henschel Hs 132.

Now there is a lot of PSR ahead.

You're on a roll today, aren't you?  ;D  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yeah, I'm enjoying a mini holiday of three days, between jobs, and trying to get as much models done as possible. Besides these "half way" models there is also a bunch of models to spray and finish detailing.

It's about time for these projects..Some are lingering for two and a half years. The majority is taking about 1 year.

I guess i'll be posting more updates than usual in next days.

Cool.  I like the nose with the prone crew member. The outer "booms" might require an extra extension, though? They look quite short in the context of the whole design?

Mate, that's great.

Proportions are, IMO, spot on.
Something about it is giving me a Japanese vibe.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

impressive proportions indeed, and thinking

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

1st thought: that looks cool!
2nd thought: UNARMED, it would fit well in the "In Memoriam Group Build", for Tophe. https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?board=227.0

Good point.  You've got two months left.  Could you finish it in time?

Yes, I think i can finish in time. But I'm not sure if it's eligible. To ben open and frank it was started just some weeks earlier than the gb started.

I'll carry on anyway whether in the gb or not.

How much work had been done before 1st July?

Ehm, had all colors removed. Got the tailplanes and canopies removed. Got u/c wells opened and cut one wing on each fuselage. So basically had three fuselages with wings plus props and some parts.
