Yeah this is just going from strength to strength 💪  ;D  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Once you get the camper part worked out it will be a home run!

I printed some parts: Antenna mounts that I found online (see a couple of posts up) and some fire extinguishers I drew up (I was tired of making them out of sprue and bits of plastic). I also combined the radio unit (receiver, power supply, external speaker, handset) and drew up a camera ball. I think I'm set with antenna mounts, radios and fire extinguishers for a while.

Here are the parts off the supports and washed; they still need some cleanup:

The thin wire for the large antenna mounts printed in most, which is surprising since they were very thin and I didn't add any supports. I made four types of fire extinguishers - small, medium and large (with and without mounting straps). The ones that had hoses mostly printed out - a few hoses broke off during cleaning.

This is a view of the camera ball. It's a quick and dirty design loosely based on some pictures I found online. The ball doesn't move (didn't feel like going that far down the design path):

These antenna mounts printed well. The bases are very thin:

Thes printed less well. The shape made it difficult to place supports and I forgot to properly support the antenna end, so they mostly failed, but it's easy to drill out a new one:

Some of the medium size extinguishers:

Large ones without mounts and the small ones. I'll trim off the excess supports at the bottom as needed:

Soon we won't buy a kit, just print it out at home!
That's amazing work.

drawing the fire extinguishers took about as long as making a good one from scratch.

One print run and you have a rather large supply of gear. Nicely done

kerick

It might take a while to put together the file but then you can print any number you want. Or modify for another purpose.

Some minor work in the "office" - I think it's almost ready to close up:

The radio is a recent print of all the radio parts combined. I added a small monitor on the driver's side to cover the otherwise blank space and I relocated the 24" monitor to the top of the dash. It can still sing out and face either side.

Any pinups planned for the rear wall? Or maybe some pictures of what things used to be like, before 'That Day'?
