If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The question is: regular type pods or fat pods like the civil 234ER?

I think Italeri do one with the big tanks. I'm sure I've got one actually.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

The big fuel tanks are removable so I guess you could have switchable mission pods. You cannot view this attachment.

I had something like the droptanks of the H-21 in mind

I'm increasing the height of the fuselage to make the kit more 1/72-ish

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Those tanks look like they are from a Voodoo.

Do these side pods make me look fat?

There was a commercial here with Abraham Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd Lincoln. In real life she was a bit chubby and Ab had the reputation for honesty so of course she asks him if her new dress makes her look fat and Ab is just standing there stammering.

They do the MH-47G, I've built a few of them.

The pieces of the fuselage have been glued together and the first round of PSR done. A layer paint reveals, where more PSR have to be done.
