Accidental Loggie

Evening all.  I'll be there on the Saturday accompanied by a variety of models, but which ones will depend on clearance by OGL 🫡 depending on ramp space on the tables.  I've also promised TSR Joe my dad's 8 Sqn Nimrod AEW3, but that'll stay in the car due to its size: I need to make space for the 8 Sqn Wedgetail AEW1 in my cabinet somehow, and this seems historically appropriate...

Never mind: they can probably see it from Telford anyway. ;)

Having managed last year, things are looking a bit wobbly this year.  Madame R is recovering well from her hip replacement but a lot  depends on this continuing.  If it turns out I can't make it, those who do attend will just have to enjoy it on my behalf!

Well I'll be travelling 3 weeks tomorrow (I can take time to recover nowadays  :-\ ) and what happens ? Blasted Tube drivers union decide to go on strike  :banghead:  Oh well just have to take a slightly longer walk from KX and thank the heavens for whoever invented "wheelie bags"

Right don't  forget you can use this thread to announce what you'll be looking for at the show and then other attendees can keep their eyes open for you whilst they wander around, plus you never know someone may well have an example of what you are after that they want to get rid of.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!! - but seriously, I'm looking forward to it. Doing the Saturday this year, hopefully it won't be impossible to move about.

Evening all.

Amongst our Whiffing community, is there anyone who's interested in Soviet / Russian whiffs?  I ask as I have a copy of Unflown Wings that's surplus to my reqts which I could bring to Telford on the Saturday if anyone is willing to make me an offer so I can continue to fund my OR F.155 habit 🥸You cannot view this attachment. You cannot view this attachment.

Condition is as shown.  ** Apologies for large photos: I couldn't get them to post them smaller**

Happy to take PMs.  TTFN ✌️

My wish list only has a few items on it, and all in 1/72 scale.

Italeri Short Sterling, both the B.III and the Mk. IV
Special Hobby Mirage F.1C/C-200 'Armée de l'Air'

Most of what I want, I know where to get.

My previous 50-50 being/not being there is now sadly deffo not there ☹️

Chris and/or Nick: As we'll be meeting up at the London show on 7 December would one of you be willing to hunt down a cheap pre-loved Airfix 1/72 B-26 Invader for me, please?

Not bothered about the age nor the decals, it's for whiffery and will be getting new markings.

Will PM about payment later this week.

I was going to ask if someone could pick up some overtrees from Eduard and then pass them along at the Bolton show.  We can sort out the logistics later.

I can PayPal the cash monies nearer the time.

I'm after the following, 72nd obvs.
2 x Bf 109G-10/G-14AS
1 x P-51D
1 x Fw 190F

Ta muchly.

I'm sure Chris and I can sort that for you  between us Lee.

Magic, thanks.

The box containing your bits is packed and very full, as is the one for Gondor.  One of the lads at my club who is going down (but who doesn't have space for me) will drop it off at the SIG stand.  All boxes are marked as to what belongs to who.

There's a bag of resin bits for Dave, but if he doesn't get there, can either Chris or Nick pass it along to him at the London show please?  Ta.

If he has space, there might be something for the stand.

Noted. I don't mind picking them up if they have them (I'll be looking for some as well) but someone else will have to take them home and then on to Bolton.

Should be able to.
