It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Oh so 50's... interested how it evolves

This could go in many directions. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one.

5o's seems a nice aspect, i want to build a Jetsons style engine Design

but at all i like it more apocalyptic in a stranger future dystopic style.

I will try to make the ropes from metall guitar strings to keep the ship flying and get some Harbour style bollards from a friend.

Now i am searching for styrene tube  in 35-45 mm for the anti gravity engines in the wings, can't find anything. Seems that i have to slaughter some engines, cowlings or similar .

Look in your local DIY warehouse at waste water pipe and fittings.  You might find something there you can use.
Just beware that it can be tricky to glue.

There are other sources.  The central ring on this is a slice sawn from a flocking container (thick, clear styrene).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Those water tubes from PVC and similar stuff are not suitable for my Workflow , thx , after a lot of experiments i will use styrene material only .
Will have a look at that problem next week

Really interesting project
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

Yes, that surely IS a big droptank!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That thing is 8 inches long, 20 cm in Europe.
Could be from a 1:35 Phantom F4 i think.

Sometimes you can get lucky and find different bottle caps and stuff made of styrene. I wish medicine bottles were styrene as I would have an unlimited supply!

It wouldn't look out of place in "Raumpatrouille Orion"

killnoizer

Wait for the PAINT JOB and it would not fit into Orion ... which was a black and white show

Did some work today,  traveled to Bielefeld over the weekend, there is always a place for my mobile toolbox in the Defender.

The cabin aperture is in shape, and the four holes for the towing cables are drilled...

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
