Yes, it does look as if it came from an A-7. For the instructions have a look at Scalemates, they have pictures of the box art which may jog your memory. The model does look as if it is the Italeri S that you think it may be.

I have one on its way off Ebay, so I will be able to check that.
I just ordered a few IFR probes too, and I have a colour scheme to do them in also.
