I beg the pardon of the forum members for having abandoned this GB, that did interest me, but am busy full-time working on my train layout, and cannot think of anything else. I am afraid I am monomaniac, or mono-something anyway, and am able to think of only ONE project at a time.

I had a motorized showcase (a so-called paternoster) built for me in Germany, and when I managed to carry home the shelves I had to store in France earlier, I HAD to complete assembling it, cutting and fitting the covering panels, etc and re-doing a side of my layout in order to join with the paternoster, new base boards, new tracks, wiring, switches (points ?) , a mobile bridging part to allow passage, I don't know when the job will be completed. AND I am already thinking of modifications....

No worries.  Not all Group Builds appeal to all members, despite what the polling says.

No worries.  Not all Group Builds appeal to all members, despite what the polling says.

And, even if it does appeal, sometimes Life gets in the way, or the mojo is focussed on another project (as above), or the mojo has left the building entirely, or the GB doesn't fit in with your model building plans any more.

No problems, similarly I can only really work on one project at a time. I even struggle trying to do different things about the house at any given time

I can have multiple builds on the go, but I'll put some down for a few days and then come back to them later. I can't flit between multiple builds during th esame session or even day or two. So I suppose I fall between two camps when it comes to productivity ? Not that there's much at the moment

If you want to have your incomplete build moved, reach out to a real mod to have your build shoved off the ice and into another build.
