Ugly?  Perhaps, but I'd rather say "purposeful" ... 'deadly' also springs to mind.    Some people thought the A-10 was ugly when it came out.

That's a modern freighter with bulged doors over the cargo bay and the bridge astern - but it's heavily obscured by the model in the foreground.

As a late addendum: an alternative interpretation of the concept "Single-seat attack aircraft based on the Kawasaki T-4" will be built for the current Polar Wars GB. Why leave an idea alone when you can create another fictional iteration of it?
