As you know I will be returning to work on the 10th November, a few training days and then holiday cover so for me the builds will start after I receive my first wages which should be in December.

As discussed my intentions are to build a Land Train for carrying heavy equipment, there's a few videos on YouTube which go into depth about the Real World vehicles and the concepts that weren't built.

A kitbash using the Airfix Rotodyne and the Bristol Type 170 Superfreighter. I have seen a few sketches of what could have been the USNAVY's Rotodyne. The wings do look very similar to those of the Superfreighter. The engines lean towards early turbofans or contra-rotating propellers. If its an easy swap for the wings then the Superfreighter gets the turboprops.  If not then I'll probably go for a helicopter gunship using spare parts.

The Lockheed S-3 Viking leans towards the An-74 or AEW version. A kitbash using the A-10A wings and twin tail fins would look similar to the Boeing V-22 Osprey and A-10 model that I have already made.

The backup plan.
A kitbash using the Blackburn Buccaneer with the de Havilland Sea Vixen twin-boom tail fins.
This time the Buccaneer will be almost straight out of the box and the Sea Vixen grafted on in various places.

Over the course of 2025 all these suggestions will be built, one or two might be finished on time and posted separately.

The backup plan part 2

This will be based on the 1/72 Avro Shackleton MR.3, I have the leftover parts from one of the Falcon Triple Conversion sets Grumman E-1B Tracer.
'Shack with the Stack' based on the American MIT Project LAMP LIGHT. Prices for the 1/72 Boeing B-47E and Vickers Valiant are still beyond my budget. I still need a bit more practice using vacform kits. I do have this as a future project and I also have seen some parts from the Freightdog website that can be used.
The engines might be changed , I'll have a rummage in the spare parts boxes.

What ever ya come up with Mac it's probably gonna be different
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
