The cut up fuselage has been glued back together.  I await the drying of the glue.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Cut and shut and then stick it back together..story of our lives ain't it ?
Would be more than happy to be doing that right now aswell but kinda one handed at the mo  :banghead:
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The front end is back how it was more or less but somehow about 1/4" has gone missing behind the cockpit.     :o

It's all slathered in putty now.

I am trying to remember into which parts box I put the warped 1/24 resin surfboards I know I have and which I want to use to make the central ski.

Be right next to the kit you did not know you had, like the ACE Stolly. Try looking underneath that

Nah, they were in a small parts box with engine parts (obviously!).  I'd trapped them between the lid and the partitions in order to remove the warping.

Heres a mock up with the wings taped on between PSR stages 2 and 3...

...since then stage 3 is complete and i've glued on one wing.  Stage 4 will be needed on some spots on the fuselage but they are minor low spots and the wings are going to need putty so i'll address them at the same time.

This cries for huge spats (Lysander!).  ;D

Yes; yes it does!

Lysander spats would be perfect.  But as this is the Polar GB it is getting a ski.

Both wings are now glued in place.  I didn't realise until glueing all the various bits of Corsair back together just how asymmetric the vertical tail is.  Presumably to counteract the torque of that big engine and monster prop.

I'm sure you could put spats on the skis too, think of all that snow being splurted up all over the windows! :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

After seeing how the wings are mounted that really got my eyebrow raised 🙃
The first thought I had was floats 😆
This will be very neat ..there's no doubting that

Ohh myyy.  I, um, just, wow.  Why is that so cool?
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Such a simple mod to make it super cool
