They don't look too bad depending on the look you're after, I guess streaks.  Try thinning your pigments a bit, put a few drops of thinners next to your pigments on a palette. Draw the thinners into them a little at a time, testing on your palette.

Vallejo have a how-to video:

I'm not familiar with Vallejo's but I've used Humbrol's weathering powders with some success.  They have some more in depth videos:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thank you very much for your suggest, but there are no pigments used so far... But Mrs. K should have some in her stash, i will have a look!

Today my local dealer was in business, so i could get the basic grey from BELTON and push it all over .

Where that putty is visible i will try some bigger parts of rust and damage, so these places are prepared with that for the dry paint weathering , i hope

The image I have of an hovercraft is quite different. Where are the skirts?

It uses a technology not currently revealed to the public. If I told you any details, I'd have to shoot you

I have modified the title of the thread,  it was my mistake 😱 to call it a hovercraft, just in cause of the way it will move...
I'm searching for the correct name in german.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It says hovercraft not air cushion vehicle.  It's a craft that hovers.  So hovercraft is correct.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Of course, you're right. But my mind is still thinking of the Airfix SR-N 4 as a proper hovercraft.  ;)

The spots of putty really puzzled me for a while. I keep waiting to see them sanded off. Now I understand what you were thinking of. Right now it looks like those spots on steel where the corrosion has worked its way under the paint and bubbled it up. Very cool.
