Hi,
I've spent a little time painting up the figuresthe kit came with.  I may also try and 3D print an Elder One and maybe a giant penguin as well.

The colors are very 1930s, looks great! More penguins and dogs please.

Beautiful I love more and more the aircraft from the thirties.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Hi,
Here are some 3D models I'm going to try and print.  I found the Elder One and the penguins on the internet, but had to try and make up my own Shoggoth, because all the ones that I could find on the internet looked kind of off to me.

I take it the Shoggoth is the flattish thing below the Red axis arrow.

Hi,
Yeah, that's my best attempt for now.

I found several 3D modelsfor the Elder One,but many of them only had two wings, whereas I thought that they were supposed to have five. So I ended up downloading the one shown above.  Though I am kind of confused how the creature would be able to use all five wings to fly

For the Shoggoth, many of the models that I saw on the internet seemed to either be a wild mix of arms and teeth, or they appeared to show more structure than what I had thought a Shoggoth had.  If Iam recalling correctly, I had thought that they were supposed to be "amoeba-like" blobs with a lot of eyes and such, so I ended up taking an amoeba model off the internet, flattening it a bit, and moved some of the internal round bits to its upper surface to represent eyes.  I also then added a mouth just for the heck of it.  I'm not fully sure if it really reflects what the story had in mind but its my best guess for now.  :-\

Pat

PS. the big penguin is meant to be one of the giant albino penguins from the story, while the other two penguins are just meant to be more normal type penguins.
