I remembered having an ancient Revell M-56 1/40 kit stored away since 20 or 30 years, without box.

With its wide tracks it seemed appropriate for an antarctic fighting vehicle, HEAVILY scale-o-ramed.
Parts were still sealed in heir plastic bag.

And most are still on their sprues.

It will help defend the antarctic unobtanium mines for their legitimate owner(*) (the Anarchist Empire) from being robbed by the henchmen of the infamous Zenrat Industries.  ;D

(*) Any suggestion that the poker game in which the mines were won had been rigged are completely unfounded, of course.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

How could Anarchists even have an empire? Wouldn't they be too busy fighting amongst themselves?

QuoteWOMAN: No one lives there.

ARTHUR: Then who is your lord?

WOMAN: We don't have a lord.

ARTHUR: What?

DENNIS: I told you. We're an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week,...

ARTHUR: Yes.

DENNIS: ...but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting...

ARTHUR: Yes, I see.

DENNIS: ...by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs,...

ARTHUR: Be quiet!

DENNIS: ...but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major--

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm glad I already had The BOOK out for someone else  ;)

Oddly enough I was having a conversation about the Anarchist "Replublic of Catalonia" in the Spanish Civil War yesterday down the pub. That and their presence in Paris in the early 1900's are both fascinating subjects to study.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

No problem at all, with ME as absolute boss!
In the meantime, work has started, obviously the engines have been moved to the rear, so I needed to separate mudguards from the motor hood, then decided it was too long, and am building another  - shorter - part. Main armament is being readied, and the build has already attracted interest by various species of penguins.  ;D

Advancing with my build. Now I have to decide if I can fit a smaller turret in front of the main one. Excess firepower is always useful.

And I decided to add an ore carrier to my scenario, an heavy semi-trailer with a tracked (of course) motor unit. Now I have to build the skis for the trailer.
