Not quite as The Goons envisioned it, but since it was powered by a Napier Gazelle, it's still a jet, right?

Since it represents a pre-service variant, the backstory is a piece of cake; it was purchased as a flying N.A.A.F.I. instead of a troop hauler. Because why not?  And yes, I understand that there are many problems.

It's not a problem, it's an opportunity!

The N.A.A.F.I trucks were considered essential to the morale of the troops in WWII, so why not modernise them ? Looking forward to seeing where this goes

I have had an idea similar to this for some time, looks like you've found the perfect steed !

I've also heard that Goons episode so looking forward to this one.

Just think of all that free heat from the Gazelle exhausts to boil massive tea urns!

Slogging along on the front end. Tape seat belts - overscale but quick. Added a collective pitch control, also overscale, but who will notice anyway? Scrap bit I found and trimmed makes the cyclic look better, the original was just a short stub. Lashed up a control panel to replace the non-existent kit one. Shimmed the front to fix 'yahAg' (yet another huge Airfix gap), although not as bad as the one on the Bristol Superfreighter. Masked the whole thing as best I could, so after painting a few fake dials on the panel I guess it's ready to attach.

A spot of silver at the end of each belt to depict the buckles?
Other than that, all going well!
