Well, decals done!

Just need to get a coat of gloss over them before I move on to panel lines & weathering. ;)

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

A quick coat of 2:1 (Super_Clear : thinners) tonight.

I'm sticking with the red 'roos for these builds because I couldn't get the d@mned things off & I have a lot of them.

Kit's 2nd Law applies:  Operating as part of the multi-national force sent in to stabilise (Somewhere ... Elbonia?) the Australian forces' (RAMs, Army & RAAF) units decided to use the slightly more visible red RAAF kangaroo on all vehicles deployed to minimise confusion for their allies, having to cope with blue, black & red 'roos of varying sizes.

See? It works every time.

About the Elbonia campaign, I can't help feeling we should know more about this..........................
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

And whether they consulted a certain Computer Engineer with glasses and a curled-up tie...  ;D

Personally, I think Elbonia would be too easy a target, its military being hobbled by incompetent, corrupt & treasonous officials, politicians & officers.

Don't think Dilbert is really relevant (unless he was hired to create data-transfer choke-points & back-doors into their military computer systems), I'm thinking more Gun Jesus & The Chieftain (who have both had a say in Elbonian weapon systems procurement).

I'm working on the backstory but haven't picked my target ... Yet! ;)

Took me ages to remember where the background to Elbonia comes from, at one point I was digging the Book out.  ;)

Well, that's lucky! ;)

The trick with Elbonian procurement is to find weapons & weapons systems that look good in theory but fail when put into practice.

Now for some pretty pictures:

These are prior to some paint touch-ups, panel line washes & weathering, & there are still various little bits to be added to finish her off.

The rest of the photo's of this build are HERE.

As before, I really like this scheme. I get the thing about the red roos, I can see how a more subdued colour would have suited the scheme better.
