The Wooksta!

Trying to find either a Humbrol Acrylic of Vallejo Model Air equivalent of this RN shade.

Google is confusing the hell out of me and is less than useful.  The best it gave me was a Light Aircraft Grey which is just a bit too beige.

According to the Hobby Color Converter app Vallejo Model Air 71407 is Sky Grey.  This is listed as a direct equivalent for FS36463 (Grey Matt).
Numerous sources on the interweb equate FS36463 with RAAF Sky Grey.
None of which is any help with RN Sky Grey.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Fred, what Vallejo would you recommend for RAAF Sky Blue?  I'll be needing it for a 618 Sqn Highball Mosquito at some point.

Vallejo Model Air 71.306 Sky Blue fs355550 is the nearest.

Hataka and Lifecolor do RAAF Sky Blue which they map to fs255550

You got a bit carried away with your "5" key there mate.
FS35550 for the Vallejo and FS25550 for the Hataka and Life Colour.
Now, IIRC the first digit in the FS code relates to the sheen of the paint so they are both the same colour, just one is more matt than the other.

Lee, I have Vallejo 71407 and I think I used it as RAAF Sky Blue on this Wirraway which is as close to a RW build as I get meaning that for once I cared if the paint colour was accurate.  So yes, i'd recommend it.

Ta.  The Mosquito has had all the Oxtail mods and just needs primer, so I'll order the paint when I get paid.
