hey guys
Hope we all had a nice relaxing Christmas? I know I did and this was my gift to myself - the new Tamiya 911 GT3 RS.
Seeing as I'll never be able to afford a real one, I had to make do with the slightly smaller but considerably less expensive Tamiya version.
Also, as this is my pwn personal midlife crisis machine, it has to be in the cliche red - but not just any ordinary red. No sir, this is Alclad candy red over some Gunze Gundam metal red colour - which is more like rose, but it's a great base coat for these candy colours. The Blue and green also work super well too with their respectful candy top coats.
Everything is OOB. I didn't even add seat belts.

On a separate note, I had to move my display cabinet yesterday, so after I took all the kits out, my son grabbed all the cars and laid them out on the dining room table so he could take some pictures.

Well, the Porsche was fun and it has sated my desire for an expensive car that I'll never own IRL - unless I win the lottery or get me a sugar-mamma, which will never happen either coz a) I don't buy lottery tickets and b), I am sadly not good looking enough to warrant that kind of play money from some wealthy lady.

As always guys, thanks for stopping in and having a look
See y'all soon

I'm not a car man, but I can spot a stunner when I see one   terrific work
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That is absolutely fantasmic, Si!

Who needs seatbelts in their Dream Machine? You'll never actually drive it, so there's no chance of actually crashing it!

Unless you win 'Lotto, of course. In which case I would recommend you get seatbelts fitted, even if only to keep the rozzers of your back. ;)

In the RW they're not actually allowed to build them without the seatbelts.

Nothing stopping you taking them out afterwards though......................... If you're that silly.

Thanks fellas   yeah, probably should've added belts, but I just can't be arsed. I like to live dangerously and by my own rules. It's amazing im still alive TBH.
Might do them (the belts) when my son and I go to build his one. As a typical, GTA fuelled teenage male, he wants a more "sinister" look of metallic grey and black with a yellow trim. It'll look cool, that's for sure. I think I did good by talking him out of Matte black. Just no

Gorgeous paint.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

More of "not a car type of guy" but I know great paint when I see it

That's a ten times better looking than the real GT3RS I saw last week ..it was green .

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
