If it's Russian, you don't need to worry about recalling rivets correctly.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Do I sense a 'Soviet' theme here?  ;)

3 x Eureka XXL 1/35 Ammo Case for 25mm M242 Bushmaster [LAV / Stryker] (EUX-E-077) - this will give me about a dozen ammo cases for anything using the 25mm Bushmaster auto-cannon
1 x AFV Club 1/35 Stryker M1126 with CROWS-J [javelin missile turret] (AFV-AF35343) - That gives me the two that I need to complete the unit
1 x AFV Club 1/35 US Army M1296 Stryker Dragoon (AFV-AF35319) - replacing the Panda version, so I have two of the same kit by the same manufacturer (Next is to figure out what I want to do with the OOP Panda kit)
1 x DEF Model 1/35 US M1296 Stryker Dragoon Sagged Wheel set for AFV Club kits (DEF-DW35114) - see above for why these might be required

Ooooh, I didn't know anyone did a kit of an SRN-5.

OK, they may call it a Bell SK-5, but it is an SRN-5 no matter what they say. And with a couple of them you could make an SRN-6 too, hmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Got a small box from the Big H today with the SAC landing gear for my EE Dalgety, and a few other 'enhancements' as well, just in case I find a use for them.  ;D

So a 1/72 new tool Kovozavody Prostejov Fw 190 A-3. They've gone back to using the full name rather than KP, no idea why. Anyway it looks reasonable, if a little soft. Not as nice as their 109's which are issued under the AZ label, but proof of the pudding will be in the building. I'm hoping to start this next week to accompany the DB-7 on the bench. It will be real world. They've done 4 boxings of these early 190's, seee how this builds first though  ;)

A mask to go with the above.
A Special Hobby mask for the DB-7 to go with my Azure-Fromme kit
And a 1/48 ASK mask to go with my Airfix Lysander - if ever a kit needed a mask ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Several purchases arrived today,

From Starling Models

1 x 1/600 Starling Models STA138 RN type oerlikon. The box contains fifteen of these tiny items

2 x 1/600 Starling Models STA139 Single 40mm bofors. Each box contains four of these tiny items

From Micro Master four tubs like this

Which contained several of these

to the tune of

3 x 1/600 Royal Navy 6"/50 (15.2cm) QF MK N5

4 x 1/600 Royal Navy 3"/70 (7.62 cm) MKVI x1

which will be put to use on the two HMS Tiger kits I have.

The packing by Micro Master was fantastic, the bottom of each tup was lined with cotton wool and only two items were in each tub. All the tubs were wrapped in tissue and in a box, which was in turn wrapped in brown paper that was cut then expanded sideways to form a chain-link effect, and then wrapped in a plastic bag. Considering it arrived via air-mail and nothing was damaged is a testament to great care in the packing

Neither having been able to limit my procurement/building ratio nor managing my updating here for a while, please consider this post a catchup as well as a confession of an addiction.

Right. Here goes.
These are my "mojo enhancers" acquired over the last month or so.

The idea right now is to make both these Spanish, probably in the fabulous 1990's yellow/brown/green scheme, used on among other planes the Mirage F1CE.

I haven't decided about the Super Puma yet, but I think I'll make the Deuce into a third SuperDeuce. I liked that conversion, and this could perhaps be Portuguese, basing at Lajes on the Azores to protect the southern air transport route over the Atlantic. Not that it's that important for the time being, but I'm trying to hope the last few months just never happened.. :banghead:

These will be Finnish, so RW or at least close to RW. We'll see if I can contain myself enough..

By the way - I'm super chuffed about bagging that Gnat. They're incredibly rare over here..
