The Lansen, to which I sourced a J32B conversion (bigger engine, 30mm cannons instead of the 20mm ones in the A32A and the ubiquitous belly tank) will most likely be converted into the proposed J32U (U for Utvecklad, meaning Developed in Swedish), featuring somewhat more swept wings and a more powerful engine. The J32U would have been firmly supersonic, and I think I'll expand a bit more on that by working a little on the transsonic drag issue by lengthening the fuselage somewhat (will also serve to fit the long J35F afterburner) and a pointed radome up front.

I do have a few Viggens already, but as Kit use to say - one can't have too many xx kits (replace "xx" as you see fit). One of these may likely become Australian as the RAAF actually did look seriously on the Viggen back in the 1970's. There was even a model, featuring an extendable AAR probe, as on naval F-4's, on the right side of the nose and two big AIM-54 Phoenix missiles under the forward fuselage. Too cool not to be built, methinks.  ;)

Finally the 105. Well - they're getting rarer, and I got a good price, and I'm sure I can find some air force where it'll fit. After all - it's a very nice little armed trainer, in particular in its Austrian variant with more powerful engines.

Right. I really shouldn't buy more in a while now, in particular considering the fact that I haven't completed anything in almost a year, but to be painfully honest, I have my eye on a particular kit up for grabs on the Evilbay for the moment. Let's see how excruciatingly expensive that turns out before we go deeper into that, though..

That looks like a great haul Mr. Pellson sir, most impressive. Particularly the Lansen, love your ideas for the Utvecklad version.

I just won a bumper job lot of Aeroclub stuff off ebay last night. A few items are 1/48 (= GIANT....) scale, so expect them to appear on here before much longer as trade fodder, or in some other status.  ;)

OK, they may call it a Bell SK-5, but it is an SRN-5 no matter what they say. And with a couple of them you could make an SRN-6 too, hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Not at the price these go for.  Not me anyway.

Oh I like the phraseology (as well as the haul). I wonder if one could get a prescription on the NHS....well if you can get Viagra on it   ;)

Nor me in reality, I've still got three SRN4s in the loft waiting to be converted into a Super 4....................one day..............

I have a real BIG BIG Box of old used kits , gifted from a buddy of the local military vehicle group, driver of a very cool Hanomag Truck, they are mostly tiger tanks ( 6x ) , Wehrmacht , thousends of parts, chains, guns, soldiers, cars , horses ,  Flak and everything for a complete german army in WW2  all in 1:35 / 48 ,  far to much for me , think i will divide that stuff at the next club meeting next week .
Very good for some new constructions

Sorry, no pic, i was to surprised when open the parcel.
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Looking forward to that!

Not kits for The Stash, but a pair of Quickboost 1:72 FuG 240 radomes - actually for late Ju 88Gs, but I have an idea for a different carrier.

Yeah, can't say I was happy with the price, either, but it's been a "must have" kit for a while now, so I bit the bullet. :o

I was very nearly tempted myself.  It would sit nicely in my stash next to the Pibber I haven't built.  But no.  I'll wait for a 1/72 LCAC to come along.  That's what I really want.

Trumpeter already do one, I've got one in The Loft. It's a massive, and expensive piece of plastic, but still not quite large enough to act as a Harrier base. :(

I tried it..............

I know.  I missed out.  I am waiting for them to repop it.

Natural choice.

A bumper bundle of vintage Aeroclub stuff just arrived, which I'd won on ebay a couple of days ago.

There's no less than 22 ejection seats, various vacform canopies, including the bulged none for an early Spitfire PRIG, a four blade prop for a Spitfire XII, and the rarest-of-rare Spitfire contra prop!  ;D

I'll never need to get another ejection seat ever!

There's a couple of 1/48 items that I won't be needing, so does anyone fancy an etched brass Eduard detail set for a Spitfire Mk VIII/IX and some Model Technologies jet aircraft seat harness buckles? The whole of the latter set is about 6 mms square, they're only just visible!  ;)

And the whole lot at a ridiculous price too.
